5). Forgiveness with Contingent-Contingent Reporting (ICR)
The Return of the Revenue also adjusts your monthly payments according to your income. You will pay 20 percent of your discretionary income or what you will pay for a fixed 12 year plan, whichever is less. While ICR may not lower your payments as much as any other plan, it does have one advantage. ICR is the only income-based plan available to borrowers with Parent PLUS loans.
